Wild Tiger Tees was founded on the belief that meaningful work transforms lives. Our program teaches youth experiencing homelessness both the hard skills of screen printing — design, setup, press operation, quality control — and the soft skills that open doors: communication, reliability, teamwork, and pride in a job well done.
We operate from inside the Star House, a drop-in center for homeless youth ages 14–24 in Columbus, Ohio. The Star House provides a safe and welcoming environment, and our program gives participants an opportunity to earn real income while building the kind of professional foundation that can change the trajectory of their lives.
We believe that young people experiencing homelessness are not defined by their circumstances. Given the right environment, the right support, and a real opportunity, they are capable of extraordinary things.
The Team
Anu Sundaram
Co-Founder | Project Manager
Anu is a social entrepreneur with a passion for community-based solutions to systemic challenges. As co-founder and project manager, she oversees partnerships, program development, and the coordination that keeps Wild Tiger Tees running. She is driven by a belief that economic opportunity can be a pathway out of homelessness for young people.
Adam Morris
Co-Founder | Head of Operations
Adam co-founded Wild Tiger Tees with a commitment to building social enterprise that lasts. He leads day-to-day operations, manages vendor and partner relationships, and works closely with the team at the Star House to ensure the program delivers real, lasting value for every participant.
Uriel Grimaldo
Co-Founder | Lead Designer
Uriel brings creative direction and visual identity to Wild Tiger Tees. As lead designer, he develops artwork for custom orders, shapes the brand materials that tell the organisation's story, and mentors program participants in design fundamentals — helping them build a skill set they can carry forward.
Aki
Co-Founder | Most Valuable Member
Aki is the heart and soul of the Wild Tiger Tees team. As the most valuable member, she provides emotional support, endless enthusiasm, and a daily reminder that the best work gets done when everyone feels welcome. She has never missed a team meeting.
Catherine Cardiasmenos
Co-Founder | Process Manager
Catherine ensures that every order that leaves Wild Tiger Tees meets the standards the organisation is known for. As process manager, she develops and refines production workflows, trains team members, and maintains the quality and consistency that customers count on.
Kamal Deiratany
Co-Founder | Tech Lead
Kamal is the technical backbone of Wild Tiger Tees. He built and maintains the organisation's digital presence, manages online operations, and applies a problem-solver's mindset to every challenge the team faces. He is always looking for new ways technology can help the enterprise grow.
